Parent Participation

As a parent of an enrolled child at TNS, your participation in the classroom is an integral part of our day-to-day operations. We pride ourselves on offering a 1:5 student to parent ratio during school days and YOU help us make that happen. 

Parents also help us provide a snack per day to all enrolled students throughout the year. You will be assigned to a day to bring snack according to the snack calendar that is curated by the TNS director. 

The Scheduling Coordinator will work with you on scheduling your days to work in the classroom and to bring snack. 

Classroom Requirements (Parents):

• If you have a child enrolled two days per week, you must work in the classroom at least once per month.
• If you have a child enrolled three days per week, you must work in the classroom at least twice per month.
• If you have a child enrolled five days per week, you must work in the classroom at least three times per month. 
• Bring snack at least once per month, as assigned on the school calendar.
